Camp Job Skills Boot Camp June 3-6,2012 ND School for the Deaf, Devils Lake ND
This camp has been created in response to requests from students, educators, parents, counselors, and employers from across the state who see that there is a need for improved basic job skills in our young people who are preparing to enter the job market.
This training will be offered at no charge to individuals in North Dakota who are Deaf or hard of hearing. While priority will be offered to those with a hearing loss, applications will be accepted from others who may need a more individualized approach to learning job skills, on a space-available basis. Campers will be residing on campus for the duration of the camp, and all meals, towels, and bedding will be provided. Campers must be at least 17 years old (or entering Senior year of High School) to participate.
If you are, or know of, a potential camper for whom this training would be invaluable, or would like more information, please contact Pam Smith at (701) 665-4401 or by email.
