Region IV Transition Fair

The 1st Annual Region IV Transition Fair was held April 3, 2008 at the Memorial Union on the University of North Dakota campus.

Transition  is a process that helps students with disabilities develop plans to prepare for life after graduation from high school.

Transition planning, which begins at age 16, might include preparing for post-secondary education, vocational training, supported employment, independent living and community inclusion.

Students attending the Transition Fair attended seminars and visited with exhibitors to learn about resources to help them make the transition.

The Transition Fair was organized and sponsored by a collaboration of several organizations.
