Provider Quality Assurance Services

ADVANCING HUMAN RIGHTS

The Arc Upper Valley carries out its mission of promoting and protecting the rights of people with IDD by working together with licensed providers in Grand Forks to ensure that the rights of the individuals they serve are safeguarded.  All Developmental Disability providers are required to have a Human Rights Committee and Behavior Support Committee.  Many providers in Grand Forks choose to utilize the region-wide committees operated by The Arc Upper Valley.  The advocacy organizations and providers who collaborate in this effort are known as the Grand Forks Human Rights Consortium.
