Grateful for our community partners, staff, and education!

ree

This season, we are thankful for YOU - for your advocacy, your support, and your belief in a community where everyone belongs.

We are especially grateful for our COMMUNITY PARTNERS - organizations, agencies, families, volunteers, supporters, and champions - who walk alongside us throughout the year. Your collaboration strengthens our work, expands opportunities for people with disabilities, and helps build a more inclusive community. Together, we make meaningful progress, share resources, remove barriers, and support individuals and families in ways none of us could achieve alone. Your partnership truly brings our mission to life.

We pause briefly from thanking each of you to share our gratitude for EDUCATION! This year, we celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA). Signed on November 29, 1975, this landmark law guaranteed students with disabilities the right to a Free Appropriate Public Education and opened doors to inclusive learning nationwide. These protections remain essential, and in our state alone, according to The Arc of North Dakota, more than 15,000 students rely on IDEA each year for meaningful IEPs, qualified educators, and inclusive educational opportunities - rights that must continue to be protected.

Finally to our STAFF, thank you for your steady dedication and commitment to our mission. Your care and hard work help our organization better serve our community.

May your Thanksgiving be filled with connection, comfort, and joy.
